About Me

Brooke D. Wesley Brooke received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri Kansas City . She is an active member of NASW in good standing. Brooke has worked as a therapist in a variety of settings since graduating in 2000. She has worked with adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm behaviors and personality disorders.

Brooke is passionate about working with the whole person; introducing strengths based methods and positive/healthy coping skills to all participants. It is her belief that individuals will feel more fulfilled if they feel emotional, spiritual and relational balance in their lives. In addition to individual and group counseling, Brooke is also the co-founder of Thalia House, supportive living for women with eating disorders, and has just published her first book, Hungry to be Whole; A therapist Tale of Healing from Anorexia.
